 Sandra Ward RN, BSN

Renee is trustworthy. She will follow through and do what she says she will do. Several months ago, I ran into Renee while shopping at Aldi’s. We talked about how parents were not happy with what was going on in the schools and that changes needed to be made. I told Renee that I had been attending school board meetings and speaking at them (mainly about health-related issues).

Renee said that she needed to be more involved in helping to make changes that parents wanted and she was going to run for the school board. I commended Renee for making that decision. Being on the school board is an extremely important position. The school board makes decisions on curriculum and works with the superintendent.

I’ve known Renee for over 20 years. When she gets enthusiastic about a project, she will be devoted to it.  Parents have been frustrated with feeling their voices have not been heard. Renee will be the voice of parents and an advocate for the teachers and students.
